PAIUTE ATV TRAIL
This famous trail is a 260 mile loop over three mountain ranges. Much of the trail is located in the beautiful Fishlake National Forest or on lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management. The trail includes elevations from 5,100 to 12,000 feet and as well as novice to advanced terrain.MONROE MOUNTAIN
With a mixture of large meadows, aspen and spruce that is unsurpassed for fall colors, Monroe Mountain is a favorite for ATV riders. Two overlooks at Monroe Peak and Marysvale Peak provide spectacular views of the Tushar Mountains and the Sevier Valley. Riders may also want to visit the Koosharem Guard Station, a restored historic site occupied by early day rangers. A magnificent trophy elk herd may be seen along the ride. A short side trip from Monroe Mountain takes riders into Otter Creek Reservoir State Park.PAHVANT RANGE
The trail over the Pahvant Range climbs through rugged terrain to the summit where riders are provided overlooks of red-rock and steep timbered canyons. This trail drops off to the south into the Fremont Indian State Park.TUSHAR MOUNTAINS
On the remains of an ancient volcano, the Tushar Mountains rise above the timberline to 12,000 feet. Mountain goats live on the rocky crags and may be seen by the watchful rider. The trail runs through the Kimberly Ghost Town where 3,000 gold miners worked the hills in the early 1900s. A side trip can be taken down the Piute Reservoir State Park and several overlooks along the trail afford spectacular views.ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV JAMBOREE
Each September, ATV enthusiasts from around the country gather in Sevier County for the annual ATV Jamboree. With guided rides on the Paiute and Great Western Trial, this six day event provides an opportunity to get to know the trial, meet fellow ATV riders, and enjoy the beauty of Sevier County.
